Lagrein – St. Anna

The Lagrein is not only a native, autochthonous grape variety that produces wines full of character and full-bodied with noble, spicy notes. It has a dark ruby red colour, and has notes of crunch, vanilla and wood. On the palate, it presents itself with supple, intense tannins, good fullness and a long finish. Due to its long storage in barriques, our Lagrein gets an elegant, full-bodied body. For food adaptation, it goes well with rich dishes (grilled, braised and prepared in the oven). But it is also suitable as a wine to enjoy without food.
